Kay Zin Than is a postdoctoral researcher at the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a member of the Southeast Asia Biodiversity Research Institute (SEABRI). She holds a PhD from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a master’s from Beijing Forestry University. Previously, she worked at Myanmar’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, focusing on natural ecosystem management, biodiversity, and protected areas.
