Tara is a wildlife poet and the co-founder of a mental wellbeing startup. She writes and works from a gazebo with a view of a pine forest on one side and a rainforest on the other. Her first book, Barefoot in the wild – a collection of poems about endangered animals of India was published last year. She lives in Meghalaya with her husband and three-year-old son.
