Mishal Gudka

Mishal Gudka is a Kenyan coral reef scientist working for CORDIO East Africa, a non profit research and conservation organization dedicated to marine and coastal ecosystems in the western Indian Ocean (WIO). He has led WIO data aggregation and analysis initiatives, including Red List assessments, and is currently pursuing a doctorate at the University of Melbourne. In addition to coral reef data analysis, he is involved in scientific coral reef monitoring and trainingand marine conservation outreach.

Fredrick Lala is the Head of the Arid, Semi-Arid and Savanna Research Center of the Wildlife Research & Training Institute of Kenya. He conducts conservation/management research on the effect of linear infrastructure on mammal populations, and is based in the Tsavo Conservation Area.

Stotra Chakrabarti

Stotra Chakrabarti  is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biology, Macalester College and a Graduate Faculty of Conservation Sciences, at the University of Minnesota, USA. Stotra Chakrabarti leads the Conservation & Behaviour Research Group at Macalester College, conducts empirical research on lions and other carnivores. He has spent more than a decade studying lions across several populations (India and East Africa).
